A stalker carried out a horrifying campaign of harassment which saw him bombard his victim with up to 100 calls a day. Warwickshire Police said Thomas McGinn often left threatening voicemails and even contacted a relative of the victim and turned up to places he knew she would be.
He created numerous fake social media profiles to harass her and sent unwanted gifts and cash transfers. He also sent the victim distressing images of himself self-harming and refused to seek help or stop until she went to his home.
Months of harassment came to an end when his victim, who was not identified, bravely told the police. McGinn, 33, was arrested in March this year.
