Shedeur Sanders has his chance.
The Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback will make his first NFL start in Week 12 against the Las Vegas Raiders, head coach Kevin Stefanski announced Wednesday .
Fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel remains in concussion protocol after taking a hit last Sunday, and Stefanski said he is "improving."
Sanders, drafted in the fifth round in April after a now-infamous fall, debuted in Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens after Gabriel went down. He completed just 4 of 16 passes for 47 yards, an interception and a 13.5 passer rating.
It's been a turbulent era already for Sanders in Cleveland. The team passed on him for Gabriel in the third round before eventually moving back up to select him at No. 144 overall. That was after the Ravens reportedly wanted to draf
