It's going to feel like the holiday season this weekend with the kickoff of Winterfest 2025.

The festivities start with the tree lighting and Scherr Legate Lights Parade on Saturday, Nov. 22. The Rink also will open on the same day for families to enjoy ice skating at the El Paso convention plaza.

The lights parade, sponsored by Scherr Legate Law Firm, always draws thousands of families who gather along the streets of Downtown to share the tradition with their children.

It's the city's only light parade, which has been in El Paso for at least 30 years, city media representatives said.
