TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Tucson Police Department says a pedestrian has died from injuries suffered after being hit by a SUV.
The TPD says 54-year-old Jonathan Bryant Dubois was hit by a 4Runner November 3 at the intersection at East Fort Lowell Road and North First Avenue.
He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The TPD says it was notified by the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner November 16 that Dubois had passed away.
Police say the investigation indicated the 4Runner was driving east on Fort Lowell Road at North First Avenue. The 4Runner was traveling at or below the posted speed limit and passed through the intersection on a green traffic signal.
Dubois was trying to run north across Fort Lowell Road against the flow of traffic and without using a cross
