BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - For those at the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce, it’s Noodle-Vember.

That’s because when you walk into the chamber in Bangor, you’ll see thousands of pounds of pasta, all thanks to community members and organizations.

The chamber, which serves 21 communities, decided to do a pasta drive after seeing food insecurity increase in surrounding communities.

Not only did they want to figure out a way to help, but area businesses and leaders voiced the same desire to give back.

The response has been overwhelming as loads of pasta, sauce, and even parmesan cheese have been donated to distribute to area food pantries.
