SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - An Elkhart woman has been sentenced to just over seven years in prison after she pleaded guilty to robbing a bank in Goshen at gunpoint .

29-year-old Undrea House was sentenced in federal court on Tuesday to 85 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release.

House’s sentencing comes after she pleaded guilty to one count of bank robbery and one count of brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence.

According to documents in the case, House walked into the 1st Source Bank on Elkhart Road in August 2024 and pointed a loaded handgun at an employee while demanding cash.

She took over $1,000 in cash and returned to her apartment, where police found her and arrested her later that day.
