CLEVELAND, Ohio — A Maple Heights man is accused of firing 10 gunshots into the air after arguing with someone in the Flats.

Terrell Ponyard’s arrest came weeks after six people were shot in the entertainment district after a Browns game and a separate shooting that left a 21-year-old man dead.

Ponyard, 28, is charged in federal court in Cleveland with possessing a weapon after a felony conviction.

He is being held in federal custody until a hearing on Nov. 25, which will decide whether he’ll be granted bond. His attorney, Brian Craft, declined to comment.

An agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives wrote in court records that witnesses told police they saw Ponyard on Oct. 26 argue with a patron of Inferno, a nightclub in the Flats.
