KENT COUNTY, Mich. — Police are asking the public to be on alert for a missing teen from Plainfield Twp.

The Kent County Sheriff's Office says Ross Ringler, 16, walked away from his Plainfield Township home recently.

He's a white male, wearing blue jeans, a black coat and was carrying a backpack.

He doesn't have a vehicle and has had no contact with family members.
