NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A man has been charged after he allegedly fired shots into an occupied vehicle in September’s shooting.
Dameon King Jr., 21, is charged with attempted murder, according to jail records.
Officers responded to Kelly’s Quick Stop on Rivers Avenue for a reported shooting on Sept. 21 around 2:30 p.m. It was later discovered that a driver dropped off a passenger when King allegedly shot inside the vehicle.
Officers said no one was injured, but the car was damaged in the incident.
He was booked into the Charleston County Jail.
