INGLEWOOD – Inglewood Councilwoman Gloria Gray pulled a rabbit out of her hat when she announced that Sprouts will be opening a new location in the Morningside Park neighborhood of Inglewood.
Gray made the announcement during a recent Town Hall meeting that featured State Senator Laura Richardson. Gray represents Council District 1 where the store will be located.
The new Sprouts will take over a shuttered 99 Cents Store that is owned by the Academy Cathedral Church.
Over the years, the building located at 8451 Crenshaw Blvd. has been previously been a grocery store and a school.
Sprouts has not officially announced the stores opening on its company website.
