GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, AZ (AZFamily) — Grand Canyon officials released new images of “emergency stabilization work” along the North Rim, where crews are rebuilding after the historic Dragon Bravo Fire.

On Wednesday, the National Park Service (NPS) shared six new photos of efforts to stabilize remnants of remaining structures and handle any remaining hazardous materials before winter storms arrive. Autoplay

NPS’s “Burned Area Emergency Response” (BAER) team, as well as structural engineers, have been working with the Arizona State Historic Preservation Office to preserve and protect certain elements, such as stone, that were on site and considered salvageable.
