Woman charged with trying to commit robbery at dollar store

A Wilmington woman is charged with grabbing a store cashier in a headlock and holding a knife to the employee's back during an attempted robbery.

Delaware State Police said other employees of the Dollar Tree store at Center Pointe Plaza restrained her until troopers arrived Monday afternoon at about 2:00 p.m. The woman has come into the store and walked around for a few minutes before approaching the cashier and demanding that the cash register be opened.

60-year-old Kimberly Trabbold is being held at Baylor Women's Prison for attempted robbery. After arraignment, Trabbold was being held at the Baylor Women's Correctional Institution on a $25,000 cash bail.

No employees or customers were injured.
