NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - This weekend, some world champion figure skaters will be performing at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Olympic gold medalist Scott Hamilton will be hosting Scott Hamilton and Friends on Sunday, Nov. 23. The event is to raise money for cancer research.

“All the proceeds go to fighting cancer through our funding of immunotherapy. We believe that the day is coming where our bodies will understand how to fight the cancer without filling it full of poison,” Hamilton said. “I’m here because of chemotherapy. I’m not a hypocrite, I just know there’s a better way. The science is here and the funding is here, but we need to close the gap.”

The event will have musical performances by:
