TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - A Leon County woman was indicted on Monday for first-degree murder.
Makayla Hooker, 26, was arrested on Oct. 7 after a shooting on Ravensview Drive left one man dead .
Arrest papers obtained by WCTV revealed that neighbors saw Hooker and her off-and-on boyfriend arguing. Hours later, court papers say the neighbors saw her grab a gun and go into the victim’s RV.
Shortly after, a gunshot was heard, and Hooker was seen running away.
Investigators say deputies found the man dead in his bedroom.
After fleeing the scene, Hooker was later located at a nearby business and taken into custody, court documents revealed.
Hooker is scheduled to be arraigned on Dec. 8.
