Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Cory Trice Jr. is out for the rest of the season with a new knee injury he suffered in practice three weeks ago. Trice has not practiced since that moment, and the team did not activate him off injured reserve on Wednesday, thus ending his season.
Trice missed the last two months with a hamstring injury, but this knee issue is new.
Trice has torn both of his ACLs over his career, including during his rookie season, which cost him that entire year. He was hoping to get back into the fold moving forward.
Trice suffered a hamstring injury during the season last year that forced him to miss half the season. He missed the entire 2023 season after tearing his ACL. At the NFL Combine, general manager Omar Khan said the team liked Trice, but could not trust him
