HAVERHILL, Mass. —
A scholarship fund has been created in memory of fallen Haverhill Police Officer Katelyn Tully.
Named the "Heart of Service Scholarship," the fund will give three high school seniors from the Merrimack Valley $1,000 toward their educational costs.
"This scholarship celebrates Katelyn’s commitment to community, compassion, and service," the Haverhill Police Patrolman's Association wrote in a social media post. "We are proud to continue her legacy by supporting students who embody those same values."
The scholarship was created with the help of the Haverhill Police Department, the Haverhill Police Patrolman's Association, and the Haverhill Superiors Executive Board.
