WESTLAKE, Ohio -- University Hospitals St. John Medical Center in Westlake has earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group .
It joins three other UH facilities in receiving this prestigious national recognition for excellence in patient safety and quality care.
The “A” grade demonstrates the hospital system’s commitment to its Zero Harm initiatives , aimed at protecting patients across all facilities.
UH Cleveland, Parma and Samaritan medical centers also received the top grade in the latest assessment.
The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade represents the only hospital ratings program in the United States focused exclusively on preventable medical errors, infections and injuries.
