CINCINNATI —
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is reminding people to drive sober after three drivers were seen impaired in one night.
That included one incident in which an OSHP trooper with the Athens Post was hit head-on by a wrong-way driver. Advertisement
While first responders worked that scene, a second impaired worker nearly collided with emergency workers.
Moments after that, a third impaired driver entered the crash site and was also traveling the wrong direction.
“This alarming sequence underscores the extreme dangers of impaired and reckless driving. As we head into the holiday season, we want to emphasize the importance of staying alert and sober behind the wheel,” OSHP said in a release.
