PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - Leaders of the Elite ReEntry Program in Peoria said the nine men who graduated from the class this week are some of the most impressive to go through the program so far.

On Wednesday at the Peoria County Jail, those inmates graduated from the program that aims to help incarcerated people practice self-growth, accountability, and positive change. This was the seventh reentry graduation at the jail since 2009. Each student earned a certificate at the end of the ceremony.

Elite CEO Carl Cannon said the group that graduated on Wednesday has been one of the most impactful, hard-working, and inspiring groups to come out of the program.
