ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — After soaring during the COVID-19 pandemic, Atlanta’s home prices are continuing to drop back down.
According to real estate company RE/MAX’s latest National Housing Report, median home sale prices fell from $395,000 to $385,000 between October 2024 and October 2025. That’s a 2.5% decrease, making it the No. 3 city nationwide for falling house prices.

The city also ranked fourth for the largest increase in available homes and fifth for the highest number of closed sales.
