ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A Good Samaritan is being hailed as a hero after saving a man after an apartment explosion in Atlanta Tuesday night.

Clayton Still was leaving an Atlanta Hawks game with his friends when the explosion occurred.

“And as my buddy Philip, that was driving, stopped the car. I kind of jumped out. I tried to tell him I’d be right back, but kind of ran around a building. Heard the guy screaming, help me,” said Still.

Those screams drew Still right into the burning building.

A 911 call captured Still describing the scene.

“I got one male probably 40-50 years old multiple burns on his body, burned down to the white meat, walking him down the stairs now,” Still can be heard saying.
