We've been spoiled by days and even a few weeks of warmer than normal temperatures since Halloween, but Thanksgiving will likely bring a pendulum swing to the much colder side.

The National Weather Service's Climate Prediction Center's latest 8-to-14 day outlook is for Nov. 27 through Dec. 3. It's indicating a strong signal for much colder air to push its way south from Canada across most of the central and eastern U.S. toward Thanksgiving and into Thanksgiving weekend.

That will like result in much below normal temperatures across the entire area. Paducah's normal high on Thanksgiving is 54 degrees, and the normal low is 34.
