COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio —

One person was taken to the hospital after a shooting in Colerain Township Wednesday night.

It happened in the 3300 block of Alexis Road, around 8:15 p.m. Advertisement

According to Colerain Police, officers on scene found a man lying in the road, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to UC Medical Center with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police also located the suspected shooter, who was still at the scene, and took him into custody. The suspect, identified as Ramaud Biggers, 23, was charged with felonious assault and was taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center.

An investigation revealed the shooting stemmed from a fight between the two men.

Neighbors at the scene said they heard arguing and screaming before the gunshots rang out.
