The wild weather continues to take its toll on Scotland, particularly the north of the country. Snow flurries of up to 20cm are forecast and a Met Office weather warning remains in place. ‌

It is the third day of the yellow alert for snow and ice, covering a huge area stretching from central Scotland as far north as Shetland, encompassing Aberdeenshire in the east and the Outer Hebrides off the west coast. ‌

The weather warning is in place until 9pm tonight, November 20, with possible travel delays on roads as well as delays and cancellations on public transport services. ‌
