New Delhi: On Thursday, Nitish Kumar took oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar for a record 10th time. The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and many leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
Among the new ministers in Nitish’s cabinet, one name that stood out was Deepak Prakash, the son of senior Bihar leader Upendra Kushwaha. Deepak became a minister from the Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) quota, even though he did not contest the Assembly elections.
