Janata Dal (United) chief Nitish Kumar on Thursday took oath as Bihar Chief Minister for a record 10th time in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other prominent leaders of the NDA. The oath of office to Kumar was administered by Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan. The grand oath-taking ceremony took place at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna, with Samrat Choudhary, Vijay Sinha and other 24 MLAs/ MLCs also taking oath as ministers. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, several Union Ministers, and Chief Ministers from NDA-ruled states were present to witness the historic event, which marks yet another milestone in Nitish Kumar’s long political career.
