(KFVS) - Patchy dense fog could again impact your morning commute, along with rain and thunderstorms.
Fog formed overnight throughout the Heartland.
Visibility is reduced in many locations, ranging from 1 to 4 miles.
A dense fog advisory is in effect for parts of the Bootheel and northwest Tennessee until 10 a.m.
Showers and storms are also increasing throughout the morning and becoming more widespread by early afternoon.
A few storms could produce hail, but severe weather is not expected.
Rainy conditions will continue through Friday.
The bulk of the rain should move out of the Heartland by Friday afternoon, but a few lingering pockets of rain will be possible through Friday night.
