The Buffalo Bills are reportedly planning to bench second-year wide receiver Keon Coleman for their ‘Thursday Night Football’ road game against the Houston Texans.
In a surprise move, Keon Coleman was made a healthy scratch in the Bills’ 44-32 home win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Afterward, head coach Sean McDermott confirmed that Coleman was inactive because he was late for a team meeting.
Well, it appears that coach McDermott believes Coleman still hasn’t gotten the message he’s trying to send.
According to Erik Turner of Cover 1, the expectation is that the Bills will make Keon Coleman a healthy scratch against the Texans. Turner added that Buffalo will dress five wide receivers in Khalil Shakir, Elijah Moore, Tyrell Shavers, Gabe Davis and Joshua Palmer.
