Emporia State University will be the only Kansas Regents university not to raise rates for residence halls and meal plans for the 2026-2027 academic year, pending approval by KBOR during its December board meeting.

Under ESU’s proposal, rates for rooms in the Towers/Trusler/Singular complex remain the same as the 2025-2026 academic year. Rates for rooms in the Abigail Morse and Schallenkamp buildings will decrease seven to ten percent, depending on the room.

Meal plan rates will also remain the same as the 2025-2026 academic year.
