PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man is jailed after he allegedly posed as a doctor and sexually assaulted a student at an elementary school in Phoenix.
Abel Kai Gblah is being held on several felony charges in connection with an incident that happened earlier this week.
On Wednesday morning, police say Gblah entered Orangewood Elementary School at 19th and Orangewood avenues . Court documents say he told a 10-year-old girl that he was a doctor and told her to go into an empty classroom because he “needed to perform tests.”
In the classroom, Gblah allegedly pulled down the child’s pants and sexually assaulted her. When the girl told him to stop, he reportedly left the school before police arrived.
