AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - A Randall County grand jury voted to indict two women for promoting prostitution.
In July, authorities arrested Zhizhi Luna and Zhen Li Parr as part of a multi-agency human traffic investigation involving massage parlors.
Luna, 60, is charged with aggravated promotion of prostitution, a first-degree felony.
Parr, 56, is charged with promotion of prostitution, a third-degree felony.
In the state of Texas, a first-degree felony can be punished by five to 99 years in prison; a third-degree felony can be punished by up to 10 years in prison.
According to the DPS , the investigation focused on identifying and disrupting operations tied to human trafficking and the commercial sex trade.
