AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - In one bust, authorities seized enough fentanyl to kill the vast majority of CSRA residents, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday.
It was the result of an operation that started in September, focusing on a major drug-trafficking organization that was distributing fentanyl, methamphetamine and marijuana throughout the region, deputies said.

On Wednesday, search warrants were executed at 304 Lake Course Drive, 2909 Sydney St. and 203 Williamsburg Drive, Apt. 3205 in Augusta. The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office executed a related search warrant at 1016
