PRINCETON, Mass. —

A central Massachusetts man is facing charges after explosions and the discovery of several explosive devices in his truck, police said.

Princeton police said they were called to Wheeler Road for a report of explosions at about 4 a.m. Monday. Working with a witness, investigators were able to identify a suspect, Jason E. Baldarelli Jr., 27.

Police stopped Baldarelli’s truck on Hubbardston Road on Thursday morning and found nine explosive devices in the vehicle, police said.

Baldarelli was arraigned in Leominster District Court on one count of possession of explosives and held on $7,500 cash with the condition of not possessing any weapons or incendiary devices.
