The Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public's help in a homicide investigation that occurred in June.

On June 5, Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office (DASO) deputies responded to a call regarding an unattended death near 4201 Dripping Springs Road. Upon arrival, deputies found the dead body of Joseph Ruiz.

DASO is investigating the death as a homicide, according to DASO.

DASO is requesting the public’s assistance with any information that may help in this investigation. Anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area or have relevant information are encouraged to come forward.
