BEAUMONT, Texas — Texas Department of Public Safety special agents arrested 11 men and recovered two human trafficking victims during a multi-agency undercover prostitution operation conducted this week at a Beaumont hotel.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said special agents spearheaded the operation from Nov. 18–20 as part of an effort to target individuals seeking sexual services for money and reduce the demand for prostitution.
The two-day operation involved DPS Criminal Investigations Division, Texas Highway Patrol, DPS Houston CID Human Trafficking Unit, Beaumont Police Department, Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Baytown Police Department, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, DPS Victim Support Services and local nonprofit organizations in
