Riverside County is included in a flood watch issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 12:12 p.m. The watch is valid from 11 p.m. until Friday Nov. 21, at 11 p.m.
According to the NWS Phoenix AZ , “Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.”
“Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded,” the NWS said. “You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.”
