OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - A local mother of three kids is celebrating a new beginning.
She received a new home thanks to the Alma Randolph Charitable Foundation and Habitat for Humanity, who helped build her house.
The Alma Randolph Charitable Foundation helped furnish the home and provided gifts such as a Thanksgiving meal, and money for Christmas shopping.
New homeowner Kelsey Hayse says she’s forever grateful.
“The only light that I ever saw was Habitat and whenever I came to know Alma Randolph,” she says. “So it is a blessing... sense of relief and love, Alma really makes us feel really appreciated and she always tells us that we’re deserving.”
The family will also receive a new washer and dryer for the home on Friday.
