EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Something thrilli-fying on this rainy day, the long anticipated Wicked: For Good has finally dropped into theaters.
It’s not just Elphaba off to see the wizard, we know AMC on the west side of Evansville is busy with several showings tonight.
The official release happened this afternoon with showings at 2 and many more following all night.
Box office watchers predict “Wicked: For Good” could debut with $150-million or more on this opening weekend.
That would soar past the first “Wicked” film which opened with $112.5 million this same weekend last year.
This follow-up could score the biggest debut of the year.
