EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Evansville Animal Care and Control held an open house today, all to give the public a chance not only to see the changes underway at their facility, but also to meet newly-appointed director Missy Mosby.
Mosby was a longtime Evansville City Councilor before taking on her new position leading Evansville Animal Care & Control.
In the past, animal control was coordinated with other departments, but now will be its own entity.
Mosby says it’s important to be involved, and they have been expanding their outreach on social media.
“It’s just very important to actually have a hands on person here as the director,” Mosby said. “It just makes it easy for me to walk over there if there’s a problem or a question or anything like that. And we’ve been really focusing on soc
