USC confirmed to WIS on Thursday that sophomore guard Maddy McDaniel has been reinstated after being suspended before a Nov. 11 game against Clemson.
The team also shared a photo of McDaniel at practice on Thursday on its X account.
The reason for the suspension was never publicly disclosed. Head coach Dawn Staley previously said she believed McDaniel’s return to the team would be “on her.”
The Gamecocks return to action Sunday at home against Queens. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
