“Is there anything I can do for you?”

That is a question we all want to hear from a loved one. Erin Barnum often posed this question to all of us, both family and friends. Selfless and thoughtful, she greeted everyone with a bright and genuine smile. On May 30, 2025, Erin passed away peacefully from complications due to dementia. She was surrounded by her many loved ones who shared their favorite “Grammy” stories and enveloped her with hugs, kisses, and gentle strokes of her hair.

Erin Champion Lynn Barnum was born in Geneva, IL, on December 1, 1937, to Thomas and Margaret Lynn, the second of three girls.
