SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Singing Hills Blvd is now open both westbound and eastbound, after a semi vs. train crash near the intersection.

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - A road has been blocked, and meat products have ended up in a ditch after a semi vs train crash near a major Sioux City intersection.

A little before 2:40 p.m., a train struck the trailer of a semi near the South Lewis Blvd and Singing Hills Blvd intersection. This collision caused the train to stop across Singing Hills Blvd, blocking east and westbound traffic.

Iowa DOT cameras show vehicles were backed up on Singing Hills Blvd, on both sides of the train. But authorities have now started to direct drivers away from the area, to ensure traffic doesn’t get backed up again.
