KENTUCKY —
The Kentucky Parole Board has ordered Ronald Exantus, the man convicted in connection to the death of a 6-year-old boy, to remain in prison.
Exantus admitted to killing Logan Tipton in 2015. But Exantus was not found guilty in the boy's murder by reason of insanity. Instead, he was convicted of assaulting the boy's family.
After serving less than half of his sentence in a Kentucky prison, he was let out on supervised release. Less than 48 hours after his release, Exantus was arrested in Florida for failing to register as a felon.
He was then brought back to Kentucky, with the parole board holding a file review on Thursday.
They ordered that Exantus remain incarcerated after he admitted to violating the terms of his release.
