Addi Salus had specific requirements when planning her future in college.

At the top of the list was working toward a degree in Biomedical Sciences to eventually join the fight against cancer through advanced research.

Requirement No. 2 was the opportunity to continue her basketball career.

Luckily, the Palmyra ace found it all at Mansfield University.

Salus, who committed to women’s basketball coach Amy Senefelder and the Mountaineers in early September, used the NCAA early signing period to lock in her decision.

“They have the major that I wanted, and when I got to visit and meet the whole team it felt like home,” Salus said.

“I visited in the beginning of September, but I had been up prior to that on an unofficial visit.”
