EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. (KOLO) - The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service arrested a suspect in a stolen credit card case who allegedly racked up thousands of dollars in charges throughout El Dorado, Sacramento, and Amador counties, according to a Thursday, Nov. 20, El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post.
Bail is set at $615,000 for Matthew Henson.
Henson was booked into the El Dorado County Jail Placerville, and charged with identity theft, grand theft, illegal use of a credit card, felon in possession of a firearm, and felon in possession of ammunition, the post said.
The crime happened in October when an El Dorado County resident had a new credit card and other mail stolen, the post said.
Henson was identified as a person of interest.
