KENTUCKY, USA — The Kentucky Parole Board has revoked mandatory reentry supervision for Ronald Exantus, a man released early after being found not guilty by reason of insanity for the death of 6-year-old Logan Tipton.
Exantus was sentenced to 20 years in prison for assaulting Logan's sisters and father, Dean Tipton, one late night in 2015 in Versailles, Ky.
Under the "serve out" ruling, Exantus will serve the remainder of the 20 years. That puts him in a Kentucky prison for 10 more years.
Exantus admitted to violating his supervision after failing to register as a felon with the Marion County Sheriff Office in Florida . It was a major factor in the board's decision.
