Police were investigating a shooting Thursday that prompted officials to place an El Sereno high school on lockdown momentarily.
The shooting was reported around 3:37 p.m. in the parking lot of Woodrow Wilson High School, the LAPD said.

Officers said they were searching for two male suspects after finding bullet casings at the location.
One of the suspects is believed to have fled in a truck and the other on foot, according to police.
No one was injured in the shooting.
Parents were allowed to pick up students after the lockdown was lifted.
