AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Maverick Boys & Girls Club of Amarillo celebrated its annual Turkey Day Event today.

This cherished community tradition brings together approximately 700 children and families for a warm Thanksgiving meal, moments of connection, and a reminder that Amarillo stands behind every young person who walks through Maverick’s doors.

The event provides a full Thanksgiving dinner and an evening of fellowship—supporting the Club’s mission to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.

In addition to the holiday meal, the event featured special guests, as well as a laptop giveaway for select families provided by AT&T, helping brighten the season for youth and parents who need it most.
