Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla lightened the mood at the Bengaluru Tech Summit on Thursday, quipping that travelling in space was much easier than navigating the city's notorious traffic.
Group Captain Shukla quipped that his commute from Marathahalli to the summit venue at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre — a 34-km commute that normally takes over an hour — took three times longer than his scheduled speech.
"I'm coming all the way from the other side of Bengaluru, Marathahalli. I have spent thrice the time that I am going to be spending on this presentation with you. So, you have to look at the commitment that I have," a smiling Shukla said as the audience laughed.
