The school marked its 100th anniversary on Thursday with a ceremony that included a children’s choir performance and the unearthing of a time capsule.

A new $2.4 million grant is empowering Augusta University students with hands-on training to address the community’s behavioral health challenges.

The celebration took place at the current school on Howlandville Road. The original Warrenville Elementary School closed in 1995.

The anniversary event featured the school’s children’s choir singing for attendees.
